With spring's official start date this Sunday, the time has come to get your closet in order. To help you with the task at hand, Delve sat down with Corri McFadden - e-Drop Off's owner and Chicago fashionista - to pick her brain about wardrobe wins and woes this season.Delve: What trends are you most excited for this spring?
Corri: Bright nail polish, colorful clutches and platform shoes! I wear black all winter and I'm excited to pull out my new Marc Jacobs orange clutch and multi color Prada platform shoes!
Delve: What are the 3 key must-have pieces that are on your list for this season?
Corri: One must have is vintage jewelry- specifically gemstone rings. You can find great deals on eBay and local vendors. They're an easy way to incorporate color. Pink lipstick is also a must have. It brightens up the face and makes a statement. Lastly- bodysuits! Pairing them with trouser leg denim gives a retro yet contemporary look!
Delve: What items would you file to the back of the closet?
Corri: File away bandage dresses and bring out the maxis. Also, if you're still wearing super low-rise denim, get rid of it!
Delve: What is your advice for incorporating vintage pieces with this season's trends?
Corri: This spring, more is more! Pile on the rings and bangles for a funky, eclectic feel. Each piece makes a statement.
