Delve Goes CHI-RISH

Everyone knows we Chicagoans love to booze. And while the South Side of Chi is known for its Irish heritage, this Saturday the entire city likes to get in on the fun. Gearing up for this weekend’s festivities, Delve is sending along a few spots that are on our Saturday o’genda.

For Early Risers

Head to Fireplace Inn on N. Wells for ‘Green Kegs & Eggs’ before making your way to the parade. Party starts at 7 a.m. and the $35 package includes unlimited green Bud Light drafts, unlimited green Skyy vodka lemonades and a breakfast buffet.

For Scenesters

Pop into Hub 51 for $3 Bud Lights and $5 Jameson shots all day. Planning to get jig-gy with it late into the night? Saturday evening, Sub 51 is offering 1/2 off ALL champagne magnum bottles and $200 bottles of Jameson with the purchase of a table.

For Boozers

Ready to show off your infamous Irish drinking skills? Timothy O’Toole’s is hosting a green beer chugging contest (men at 12 p.m. and women at 1 p.m.) and will have “Joe the Leprechaun” onsite slinging $5 Jameson shots all day. Top o’ the morning to ya!

For the Hungry

St. Patrick’s day isn’t all Guinness and Irish Car Bombs – hellooo, corned beef and cabbage! Chicago Q is offering Kobe corned beef with Napa cabbage and fingerling potatoes in house, as well as grab-and-go pork sandwiches outside the restaurant from 10am-1pm.
