Serving up gastropub fare, the menu is overflowing with dream-worthy dishes. We’ve literally been back on several occasion solely for the Saffron Lobster Risotto. Oh, and the Truffled Forest Mushrooms. And the Rumbledethumps. Okay, okay…you get the idea.
Did I mention the extensive cocktail menu? Aside from the ridiculous amounts of drafts available (check them out here), Blokes and Birds has one of the best cocktail menus in the ‘hood. Helloooo, Cobbles & Stones (with a base of peach, vanilla bean and cinnamon-infused maker’s mark) and Burnham & Berrow (cucumber slices, gin, lillet blanc, grey goose pear, miclo rose liqueur, lemon juice).
Best news about Blokes & Birds as of late? Starting March 19th, B&B will be offering up a Saturday and Sunday brunch menu. The brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and menu highlights that we can’t wait to try include the Hash (duck confit, wild mushrooms, spring onions, confit potatoes, candied orange, two sunny-side eggs) and the Stuffed French Toast (orange marmalade, whipped mascarpone, fresh fruits and Vermont maple syrup).
Stay tuned for a full review once we check it out!
