Summer festival season in Chicago - there's nothing like it. So when we heard about the Mag Mile's plans to launch the city's first high profile shopping festival late this summer, we were immediately on board. In hopes to spike retail sales and attract tourism during an otherwise slow time, Mag Mile retailers are banding together to fill 14 days (August 26 thru September 8) with celebrity chefs, raffles, trunk shows and designer events.
