While we're still teary-eyed after saying arrivederci to our girl Oprah, we are oh-so-excited about her replacement. Say hello to Windy City LIVE, Chicago's newest daytime gem covering everything from hot spots to hard news. It's our new one-stop-shop (other than Delve, of course!) for all things entertainment and lifestyle in the best city in the world.
Airing every weekday at 9 a.m., hosts Valerie Warner (formerly of the WGN Morning News team) and Ryan Chiaverini (former ABC7 weekend sports anchor) will be joined by a number of weekly contributors including:
- 'What's on Dec' - the hottest events for the weekend from restaurateur/CEO of Rockit Ranch Productions, Billy Dec. (every Thursday)
- 'Off the Mark' - Actor/comedian, Mark DeCarlo hits the streets to introduce viewers to some of the city's most eclectic characters.
- 'What the L? Makeovers' - Surprise makeovers for some of the city's most...interesting...dressers found on the L.
- 'Frankly Hank' - Windy City LIVE senior producer, Hank Mendheim dishes on all things entertainment.
