Burgerfest'ing



Ah, grill season. We love the smell. We love the taste. We love the camaraderie. And what better way to kick off the season than with a tasting of some of the city’s best patties?

Kicking off yesterday, Rockit Bar and Grill’s 6th annual Burgerfest is once again promising unique variations on their infamous Rockit Burger. Check out the lineup below:



  • Monday - Big Bird Burger (Ostrich Patty, fried egg, pancetta chip, tomato onion jam, sweet potato frites)
  • Tuesday - The Big Cheese (Black Angus Patty, shaved pastrami, caramelized onions, gruyere cheese between two grilled cheese sandwiches)
  • Wednesday - The Locavore (Dietzler Beef Patty, Goose Island beer battered onion rings, Nordic Creamery smoked goat cheddar, Neuske bacon aioli)
  • Thursday - Greek Chicken Burger (Chicken Patty, oregano, tzatziki sauce, feta, vine ripened tomatoes, kalamata olives, black pepper fries)
  • Friday - Smoked Salmon Burger (scallions, hardboiled egg, pickled gherkins, whipped dill cream cheese, sour cream and chive chips)


Live on the North side? Pop into Rockit Wrigley for Burgerfest the 9th through the 11th for close-to-home burger fest’ing.
