In Summer 2011, Chicagoans can expect a lot more flavor in River North. The Mercadito team has announced that they will be opening up a new spot in the former Martini Park space (hello, enormous). With a menu boasting a mix of Euro-inspired dishes with Mediterranean and Latin flavors, Tavernita will no doubt be spicing up this summer's restaurant scene. Did we mention that we heard the Tippling Bros. will be the geniuses behind the cocktail menu? Needless to say we cannot wait.
