Chila-what? Chila-who?

Chilaquiles. Say it with me (chile-key-lays) are the perfect hangover food and have been since tequila was discovered on this earth (that glorious day…).

This traditional Mexican breakfast food is simple in nature but bold in taste. Chilaquiles is a fancy name for a delicious casserole of tortillas smothered in verde, rojo or mole sauce, cheese and served with a fried egg and black beans. The dish varies but here’s our best of the best of this age old cure-all:
