Last week, the fella behind Duke's (if you couldn't tell by the bar sign and burger menu) quietly opened a new rock and roll watering hole at Fullerton and Greenview in the old McDunna's space. Touting a menu of 20 different burgers and nine choices of meat (from Kobe to ostrich), The Ace Bar is making quite a name for itself amongst the Depaul coeds. But let's not chalk this one up as just another burger bar. Head in on the weekends and let your inner hippie/rockstar loose to live bands ranging from hard rock originals to rock/pop covers.
